We are super excited to offer a PRO-D Day course for your child/ children!
There are two options (additional info on munchalunch.com):
1. RED CROSS Babysitter (8:30-4:30pm)
For ages 11+ (and mature 10 year olds)
Description: The goal is to provide training on how to prevent and respond to emergencies, how to care for children at different developmental stages, and how to promote/market oneself as a babysitter to prospective clients.
Course content includes:
– Caring for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and school-aged children
– Creating a safe environment
– When to call 9-1-1
– Basic First Aid and CPR skills
– The business of babysitting

– Babysitter’s Manual
– Completion Certificate
2. RED CROSS Stay Safe (9-3pm)
For ages ~9-11 years old (and mature 8 year olds)
Description:
The goal is to provide participants with the tools to respond to challenges when at home alone, with a focus on the importance of responsibility and respect, while being accountable to themselves.
Additional topics include:
– Importance of setting and following rules when staying on your own
– How to stay safe at home and in the community
– How to prepare, recognize, and respond to unexpected situations
– Basic first aid content, including calling 911

How to pay:
1. Please visit Login | MunchaLunch | School Lunch Ordering and Fundraising Online & pick which option you wish to book your child/ children into
2. Please note the max capacity for each class is 30 participants; therefore it is a first come, first serve basis.
3. Siblings from middle school are welcome to attend babysitting course — please add them as guest or use their siblings name — then please email chair@panoramaheightspac.ca to clarify name if different from one used on munchalunch
4. Once your spot is confirmed, a form will be sent out to bring with you on the day of the course.
5. We need 48 hours notice to cancel registration- there will be no refunds after this point.
