We are excited to present to you our Athletic Club (former running club), and just like last year we are going to hold an “open house” so you and your child can come and check out what the club is all about and decide if this is something He or She would enjoy doing.

Things to consider before enrolling in the club:
We have 3 parent volunteers who are professional in running and fitness training, along with other 3 parents supervising and one teacher (Mr. Whitfield) and we all have your child’s best interest and safety at heart. Please discuss with your child the importance of good behavior and listening skills.
This year there will be a fee of $10 dollars, which will be used to purchase equipment and other items for the children and you get a free t-shirt with our logo for easy identification purposes. We would like the children to wear their t-shirt every time or as much as possible.
This is a year round, rain or shine club. Please don’t commit if you have other activities that may interfere with the proper attendance and please send your child with appropriate clothing: running shoes (no rain boots), layers for cold weather, jacket, hat, water bottle, towel, etc)
Club will be on Mondays after school from 3:00 to 4:00. Please arrive and pick up promptly.
There is usually a waiting list so if you know your child won’t be able to come anymore please let us know so we can give someone else a chance.
Also we will send out some information on a few local races we would like to be a part of during the year so it would be really fun to have many of the children register for those.
We appreciate any extra help, so if you are able to help supervise the children please ask us about volunteering.
